How do I install the Microsoft Edge Extension?

Microsoft Edge Extension – Step-By-Step Instructions

Step 1: Type “Microsoft Store” in the search bar on your desktop home screen. Proceed to Step 2.

Step 1(a): Subsequently, you can also click the following link from the MIcrosoft Edge Web Browser and proceed to Step 2.

Step 2: Now click the “Search” icon on the top of the screen and type NEOCERTIFIED.

Step 3: The five different NeoCertified instances will drop down below the search bar. Select the instance with which your account is located (NCM4/MED1/FIN1/FIN2/COMPUTEK).

If you are unsure which instance your account is located, please contact support@neocertified.com or call (877) 613-5036.

Step 4: Select the “Install” button to download the NeoCertified Extension for your account. If you are seeing a “Get” button, select “Get” and then it will populate a new Microsoft Store window where you will see the “Install” button that you will need to click. It may also ask if you would like to ‘Sign In’ to your Microsoft account, which you can either bypass by clicking the “Not Now” button or you can choose to sign in to your account before proceeding to the next step.

Step 5: Launch your Microsoft Edge Web Browser. A small pop-up window in the top of the screen will open showing that the NeoCertified Extension has been downloaded. You will then need to click “Turn It On” to activate the Extension.

Step 6: Click on the NeoCertified Icon in the top right corner of your Microsoft Edge Web Browser and then select “Send NeoCertified.”

Step 7: You will need to sign in with your NeoCertified username and password.

Step 8: Once you are logged in to your account, you can start sending secure email messages directly from your Microsoft Edge Web Browser. To view the messages in your inbox, select the NeoCertified Chrome Extension Icon and select “Receive NeoCertified.” You will be prompted to sign in to the NeoCertified portal where you will be able to view any secure email messages in your inbox.

Can I use the Microsoft Edge Extension in a different web browser?

No.

The NeoCertified Secure Email Microsoft Edge Extension only works inside of the Microsoft Edge Web Browser and is not compatible with any other web browser (e.g., Firefox / Google Chrome / Internet Explorer / Safari).

Yes. If you are using the “Send NeoCertified” button from the Microsoft Edge Extension, you are able to send healthcare-related documentation while remaining HIPAA Compliant.

If you are sending by way of your standard email account or another platform outside of NeoCertified, you are not sending HIPAA compliant email and are not meeting HIPAA standards..

My Account Is Not Working When I Attempt To Sign In From The NeoCertified Microsoft Edge Extension...

If you are not being allowed to access your account when logging in from the NeoCertified Microsoft Edge Extension, please visit Https://sso.neocertifiedmail.com and select “Forgot Password” to reset your account password. Then attempt to log in from the Microsoft Edge Extension after the password has been reset.
