A secure email solution like NeoCertified allows you to not only send and receive the sensitive documents and messages, but to also delete the only copy of the message in existence with one click of a button… Instant document deletion.

When creating a secure message, a user can compose the message either inside our secure cloud portal or inside their Microsoft Outlook application, if the NeoCertified add-in has been properly installed. From there, the user can attach sensitive files, documents, etc. to their message which is then encrypted inside of our cloud-based portal.

They’ll then have the option of setting an expiration period, which will determine the amount of time the message will exist inside the NeoCertified secure environment before being permanently deleted. And when we mean permanently deleted, we mean PERMANENTLY DELETED.

If you choose not to set an expiration period, a default six month expiration will be automatically applied to your message.

Once the user clicks the “Send” button, a notification email is sent to the recipient informing them that they’ve just received a secure email. The notification email contains a link which will take them directly to the NeoCertified secure portal. From here, only their email address will have access to your secure message… think of it like a temporary key, which allows access only to what you want them to see.

If you send a secure email by mistake, you can always retract a secure email that hasn’t previously been read, which will revoke the recipient’s access. The user can also choose to delete the message altogether at any point in time. So, even if your expiration period is a week out, you can choose to move forward ahead of schedule, deleting the message on your own volition.

Once the “Delete” button has been clicked OR the message has reached its expiration date, the message will be terminated indefinitely. That’s right. The only copy of your secure email, including any attachments, will never need to be printed, mailed, opened, shredded, and removed from the face of the earth the hard way; and this is just one of the many benefits of a secure email solution.
